The Kuje Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KCCIMA) has added three sectors to those it represents: E-Commerce, IT & Digital Tech, and Artificial Intelligence. They join Agriculture & Agribusiness, Mining, Manufacturing & Industry, Construction & Engineering, Energy, Oil & Gas, and Sports, Arts & Culture.

The change reflects how business in Kuje is already done. Traders sell through social media and online marketplaces, customers pay by transfer and card, and young founders are building software and digital services from the Area Council. Every one of these businesses deserves a voice and a network, and the chamber intends to provide both.

For e-commerce businesses, the chamber’s focus is on getting more local producers and traders selling online, on digital payments and on last-mile delivery, so that goods made in Kuje can reach customers in Abuja, across Nigeria and abroad.

For the IT and digital technology sector, the chamber will support software and IT service firms, tech start-ups and digital skills, and will take members’ concerns about connectivity and digital infrastructure to the authorities that can act on them.

Artificial intelligence is the newest of the three. The chamber’s approach is practical: helping member businesses understand what AI can do for them today, building AI skills, connecting innovators with partners and investors, and promoting the responsible use of AI that protects customers and their data.

Each sector has its own page on this website setting out the opportunities, the chamber services that apply and answers to common questions. Businesses in these sectors can apply for membership now and choose their sector on the application form.
