Members of KCCIMA’s founding leadership attended the Fourth Diplomatic and Consular Skills Training Course, held in Abuja on 26 and 27 August 2025.

The two-day course covered skills that matter for a chamber whose work increasingly crosses borders: engaging foreign missions, representing members’ interests to international partners and building the relationships on which trade and investment depend.

International partnerships are one of the chamber’s strategic priorities. Building relationships with chambers, trade bodies and governments abroad opens markets for members, and that work depends on people who understand how diplomatic and consular channels operate.

The training is part of a wider commitment to capacity building, which the chamber extends to its members through capacity development programmes, entrepreneurship training and youth and women enterprise initiatives.
